I want to obtain my BS in Computer Science (or one of its related
fields).
I need this to be an accredited college (I plan to use this to get my
MBA).
I need this to be an “on-line” college so I can attend class on my
schedule.

Here is my question: out of all the choices for *on line and
accredited* colleges – which is the most “prestigious”? That is, which
will help me the most during job interviews and in my attempts to
obtain entry into traditional MBA programs?

Based on U.S. News & World Report rankings, one of the most
prestigious universities to offer online degree programs is Rochester
Institute of Technology.
According to U.S. News, RIT tied with Villanova for first-place in
academic reputation among comparable "regional" universities in the
north. For more information:

To qualify for RIT's online degree program (B.S. with an emphasis in
Applied Computing), you do need to have completed some college already
(AA degree or equivalent units).

About.com's page on distance learning lists some other online CS
degree programs.

There are some fairly well-known, "name" schools that offer online CS
degrees, including:

University of Maryland

University of Hawaii

Florida State University

I hope this helps. Best of luck on finding a good program.
