I am looking for the artist and song name that was used as background
for a LG television ad. The slogan was "Digitally Yours". The music
was electronic somewhat. They have several ads and without seeing
them, or links to them I can't be sure which is the correct one,
however I recall the entire advertisement looked like drawings sort
of, where each scene "flowed" into the next, they were not done via
cuts or edits, but rather animated transitions, from flat panel LCD LG
monitors to a person running and listening to some LG device.

I'm precisely interested in the song's artist and title. I have not
noticed this commercial on TV in the last two years I believe.

I have found the commercial itself.

http://www.lge.com/about/digitalpr/ad_new/ad_main.shtml

It is in the TV Ads section, year is 1999, the last one listed. The
song is part of the video (WindowsMedia) but no information is
available regarding the song itself

p.s. the reason I need the name of the artist and the song name is to
be able to listen to it without watching the video, to find it on a
CD...etc

Hello neko321-ga!

Many commercials have amazing music in them and sometimes it is hard
to track down the name and artist. In this case, I went to the LG
website and sent in an email to their customer service team. Here is
the response I received:

"Thank you for your interest on LG's TV commercial.

The song is made for the LG's TV commercial.
The composer is John Groves and the singer is Stephanie Gnadt.

Thank you for your showing interest in LG.

With kind regards,
LG Electronics"

I had pointed out which commercial it was and even gave them the URL
of the page it was on, directing them to the exact one. I also found a
website for John Groves which features samples and demos. He has done
a lot of commercials!

I hope this helps.
Thank you very much, and take care!

That is precisely what I've done, but I did not receive a name nor any
such information. Interesting. Thanks! I sent the following email
to John Groves in hopes of receiving a response:

I'm wondering if you might be able to assist me. I remember hearing a
song about 4-5 years ago, and I finally tracked it down to an LG
Electronics commercial, then thanks to Google Answers I was advised
the music was made by John Groves, and I'm wondering where I can
obtain this song, mp3 or CD, or even if you wrote it?

I have found the commercial itself on this website:

http://www.lge.com/about/digitalpr/ad_new/ad_main.shtml

It is in the TV Ads section, year is 1999, the last one listed. The
song is part of the video (WindowsMedia) but no information is
available regarding the song itself.

Is this written by John Groves? If so, I'd be extremly interested in
getting the full version, or however much was composed. It's been a
long four years but I'm hoping I finally found the right place.

Hello Neko321!

I do hope you are able to find the music available on CD or other
media. As your original question asked to identify the music and LG
has sent me the name of the composer and singer, I hope this has
helped you.

Thanks again for your question!
