I am looking for any manual related to the Zilog Z80000 issued before
October 31, 1984. Other titles known to exist are Z80000 Preliminary
Technical Manual & Z80000 CPU Technical Manual. $100 for either
manual, $200 for both.

Hi anoldman,

While researching your question, I sent out some emails inquiring
about these manuals. I received one response so far from someone who
has a certain manual, but I'm not sure whether this one would interest
you or not.
The following is the reply I received from him:
"How interesting!
Whatever would bring attention to the Z80,000 after all these years?
Anyway, I have right here a 47 page booklet #00-2071-02
Z80,000 CPU Preliminary Product Specification November 1983
Sadly, I have no scanner so I'm unsure how to share it."

I will keep looking for the manuals and I will also let you know of
any more email responses I receive.
Regards,
rainbow-ga

Hi Rainbow! =)

I am checking right now to see if a 47 page booklet #00-2071-02
Z80,000 CPU Preliminary Product Specification, Nov 1983 would be
acceptable for $100.

I remain interested in a z80,000 CPU Technical Manual for $100 as
well.

I will post here, or contact you through your name-link as soon as I
get an answer.

Thanks again!

Hello,

Can you tell me, and the other researchers. if "Z80000" is the same as
references I have found to "Z80", "Z80A"?

We are looking! :-)

Wellen: No, Z80 and Z80A are not the same as Z80000. Thank you for
continuing to look.

Rainbow: The 47 page booklet #00-2071-02, "Z80,000 CPU Preliminary
Product Specification", Nov 1983 will be acceptable. This is the
first time I have used Google Answers so I am not sure how to proceed?
You have met the req's for $100. Thank you. Please let me know what
I need to do now? =)

H anoldman,
Thanks for the clarification. Ok, the only problem we have now is
figuring out a way for my contact to scan the booklet. I wrote to him
asking if there is someone who could help him scan it and upload it on
the internet or maybe even email it to you. We'll figure that part out
once we can be sure he can have it scanned. I'll let you know when he
replies.
There's nothing for you to do regarding Google Answers at the time
being. If I can find the other booklet, I will post a complete answer
here. If I can't, you may want to close this question and post 2
individual $100 questions (one for each manual). We can discuss the
procedure to do all this later.
Best regards,
rainbow-ga

I have a Zilog components Databook 1983/84 of 850 pagespages 663 to
737 cover the Z80,000 family, but I don't really want to part with it.
The book is almost A4 size so it covers a lot of information about the
Z80,000

This manual covers the whole Zilog range of processors and was
surprised to see a Z8350SCC in a very expensive modern router gateway
driving WAN ports.

Te wellen-ga - A Z80,0000 is a 32bit processor that addresses 4gig of
ram in 1984 with virtually no limits on interrupts (way ahead of a z80
or intel chip of the day)

I could get the section you are after copied but I need some form of
agreement of compensation as I am located in Australia.

The Z80,000 info wiseware has includes the Z8070 APU and it covers
virtually eveything except pin out numbering arrangements for
packages. The book mainly covers almost every detail for the Z8000
family of chips which seem to have found their way into some high end
networking and telco equipment. It is difficult for a non resarcher to
supply the information you require but if you are a bit savvy and
still need the z80000 infomation we have a web site.
