Hello Simplyxt-ga ,

I’ve been working on your question today and I have located the
following information and data:

- The current dollar size of the U.S. dental services market
- 4 years of historical market data of the U.S. dental services market
- 4 years projected market growth of the U.S. dental services market

- The current U.S. market in dollars for toothpaste
- Total growth for the period from 1996 to 2000
- Projected retail sales for the year 2005

- Colgate and Crest toothpaste dollar sales, unit sales and market
share in the U.S. (April 2001)

- Whitening toothpaste sales in the US for the year ending March 2002.

- The current U.S. market in dollars for toothbrushes
- Total growth for the period from 1996 to 2000
- Total projected growth 2005 including dental floss.

- Oral-B power toothbrush users market share (U.S.)
- Oral-B manual toothbrush users market share (U.S.)
- An estimate in dollars by Oral-B of the worldwide toothbrush market
2001.

Implant Related Data:

- Worldwide dental implant market estimate in dollars (2000)
- U.S. dental implant market estimate in dollars (2000)
- projected growth per year

- Number of dental implants placed in the United States (2000)
- Compound annual growth rate through 2005
- Growth rate during the mid 1990s.

I was not able to locate a current dollar size breakdown for implant
or X-ray services in connection with dental services. Detailed market
data of the type which you seek is usually only available in
proprietary reports which often cost thousands of dollars.

Please let me know if you would like the information I have compiled
and I will gladly post it as an answer.

Thanks
Bobbie7-ga

appliances grew 32.2% or close to $1.3 billion from 1996 to 2000. The
trend in sales is projected to increase and should top $6.7 billion in
