Greetings. I'm trying to help a friend prepare for an accounting/finance job interview for large public company. I'd like as much information/resources on how to prepare and present one's self during an interview (beyond the obvious). What to say, what not to say, demeanor, dress, etc. Am familiar with where to get SEC documents (10K, Proxy, etc.), so no need for any discussion on finding out about the company. You don't have to read the entire article on resources you find. You can skim it and if it looks like its going to be of help, please post the links. Links are preferable to pasting the answers to this question on your response. Authoritative sources, preferable to individual opinions. Thanks very much for your help. |

You're very welcome, magnesium Anything I can do to make a job seeker's transition easier, I'm down for it. I sure wish we'd evolve from that barbaric job interview process but ... Good luck to your friend and everyone looking for employment these days. It's a very rough and lonely time in a person's life. |
