Hello grant27 and thank you for your question.

From my research it would seem that the first cigar bar in the US was
"The Private Smoking Club" in Cincinnati, and it opened in 1994.

3195 Linwood Ave.,
Mt. Lookout Square.

"The former Private Smoking Club is now the One Eyed Jack's restaurant
and bar.
Address: 3195 Linwood Ave., Mount Lookout Square
Neighborhood: Mount Lookout, East
Phone: 513-871-5006"

CityBeat, Issue 3, Vol. 2; Nov. 21-26, 1996
"The Comet has attracted a devotedly retro-inspired clientele since
first opening its doors in 1995, and the Mount Lookout Smoking Club
boasts of being America's first cigar bar."

Nov 11th 1996
"Thorman opened his lounge two years ago -- he claims it was the
nation's first cigar bar -- which has become so popular he's opening
another downtown next month, called the Havana Martini Club. "This is,
hands-down, the hottest trend in the country," Thorman adds."

"In 1994, one of the most unique businesses in Cincinnati opened
across the street from Bracke's. The Private Smoking Club treats cigar
smokers like wine connoisseurs."

Thank you for your question and if you have any queries regarding my
answer do not hesitate to ask for a clarification.

Very best regards.
