This interview question, although seeming daunting, can be opportunity
to create a great impression with the interviewer. The best thing you
can do is to prepare for it. These days, most interviewers will ask
some form of this question.

The best way to begin to prepare is to take pen to paper and list your
strengths. After you have your list, take the top 4 or 5 and write a
short paragraph to illustrate an example of each strength.

Work those into a short 1-2 minute speech you can memorize. Learn to
recite it in a gfriendly way. Practice with your family or friends
till you get it perfect.

The important thing in answering open-ended questions is that you not
panic. It's your opportunity to demonstrate to the interviewer that
you have confidence, enthusiasm, a positive outlook, and excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Often times, when confronted
with several similarly qualified applicants, they will choose the one
they *like* the best. If you are above all relaxed, friendly, and
personable, you will be way ahead of the pack.
