Started my computer as usual and got this unusual message after
windows booted up:
le8:qttask.exe – No Disk “there is no disk in the drive. Please
insert a disk into drive \Devise\Harddrive\Dr2” Any idea what
this means, where it came from and how to get rid of? Thanks

Dear djt,

This messege is related to problems with Quick Time.

Solutions:
(1) "Uli" offers to go to QT file and then --> open recent ---> clear
menu <http://discussions.info.apple.com/WebX?14@2.7eFbaKT8ahx.2@.3bbcf527>
(2) Uninstall Quick Time or update the software.
(3) Go to start > run and type in msconfig. Go to the startup tab and
uncheck qttask.exe. (http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&threadm=%23WBXB%248lCHA.1516%40tkmsftngp04&rnum=6&prev=/groups%3Fq%3Dqttask.exe%2B%2522no%2Bdisk%2522%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26selm%3D%2523WBXB%25248lCHA.1516%2540tkmsftngp04%26rnum%3D6)
