Hello Curlers,

Yes a building permit is required to construct a 10’x15’tool shed in
Garfield New Jersey.

I called the Garfield Construction Department and Renee Laforge said
that a permit is required for a tool shed. Anything larger than 100
square feet requires a building permit. She said you must bring in a
copy of the survey of your property and fill out the form in order to
apply for the building permit.
