According to CITES sources, as of 2002, there are only two processing
plants in Bulgaria authorized to produce caviar. Would you like me to
list these two, and provide the CITES documentation, as an answer to
your question?

If not, how would you prefer to proceed on this question?

Hello again, Alan.

Yes, there were other companies added to the approved list, and I now
have all four companies with authorization under CITES to process
caviar in Bulgaria.

The information I have is the company name and address. I've looked
for other contact information (phone, email, etc) but thus far, have
not found it for any of the companies. I will continue to search,
however.

If you are in a rush for information, let me know, and I'll post the
names and addresses of the companies as an answer to your question.

But if not, give me a bit more time to see if I can unearth additional
contact information. It may take a few days to hear back from some of
my contacts on this topic.

Also...if there is a particular company you are looking for, please
let me know as much as you comfortably can about it. It may well be
that I come across the company in some other context while I'm
searching for CITES-related information. If you can give me a name,
or city, or any other information about the company, it would be a
help in my research.

Let me know how you would like to proceed on this.

Hello again, Alan.

Sorry to ask for more information, but I want to make sure I
understand what you're looking for.

Do you want:

1. Additional information (phone numbers, email) for the Bulgarian
companies already identified in your earlier questions.

or...

2. New companies that haven't yet been identified (and if so, do you
want ONLY CITE-approved companies, or any company?).

or...

3. Details about one specific company that -- for whatever reason --
you haven't identified in your question.

I don't want to provide information that is of no use to you. The
more you can clarifiy what you're after, the better the results will
be.

I look forward to your next comment.

Hellow Pafalafa
From the list that I had befor non of them are any good . What I am
looking is a bonafide Exporter of the Bulgarian Beluga Caviar , The
Cities list for 2002 is good as long as they different than what I had
before in April. I belive they must be Cities approved otherwise they
can not legally export. For the last time please send the name and the
addresses of yours as long as they are difrent than the alst time.
Hope I have answered your question and helped you to sort out the
things.
Best Regards ,Alan Mira

Hello again,

Thanks for clarifying what you're after. The information I've found
so far wouldn't add much to what you already have. I suspect that
there are only a small number of bona fide processors of caviar in
Bulgaria, but that they then make their product available to numerous
exporters, all presumably within the legitimate bounds of CITES
limits.

I have some queries out on this to hopefully develop some hard and
fast contact information for caviar exporters in Bulgaria. I'll let
you know what I find out, but it may take a few days to get responses.

In the mean time, perhaps there are other researchers working on your
question as well, which will certainly increase the odds that one of
us, at least, will come up with some useful contact information for
you.

I'll keep you updated as I learn anything new.

Hello again, alanmira-ga,

I'm happy to say that one of my contacts on this question came through
with the information you are looking for. According to the trade
representative at the Bulgarian Embassy in Washington DC, the two
companies listed in the letter below are approved for exporting caviar
from Bulgaria.

Let me know if you need any additional information or clarification of
this answer. Thanks for the opportunity to work on this for you, and
best of luck in your imports venture.
