Dear pixlpshr,

This question is, in my opinion, impossible to answer without
additional information:
- There were numerous newsreels by various movie studios. Do you have
any idea in which specific newsreel your grandfather appeared?
- Do you know what that newsreel report was about?
- Do you know the approximate date of that newsreel?
- What information do you expect? Would you like to get contact
information for the archive of the movie studio that produced the
newsreel? Or do you have anything else in mind?

Regards,
Scriptor

I don't know which specific newsreel it was, nor do I know the date,
but the reel was about wooden toys my grandfather made in
Somerville,Texas (could have also been a Caldwell or Deanvill address
back then), as all of the tin was being used for war efforts. My
ultimate goal is to get a video copy to give as a gift to my father.

I was incorrect in where my grandfather lived at the time. They lived
in Houston near Westhimer. The footage was shot between 1943, and
1945, and my grandfather's full name was Joseph Dixon Edwards.
