Question ID: 258778
How do I open Corel Print House files (.cph) made on a CP with Windows
95, on either a Mac running OS 10.2.6, or a PC running Windows XP?
The files are on a CD and cannot be opened or imported on the Mac via
Photoshop 7 or Graphic Converter.... on the PC they don't show up at
all.

Clarification of Question by agaa-ga on 21 Sep 2003 21:48 PDT
Clarification: I can only try any suggestions on Macs (no PCs) and
shall have to pass on any suggestions to the (distant) friend with
the original files and (now) Windows XP.

Try with a demo version of ThumbsPlus in your Windows XP computer:
http://www.cerious.com/download.shtml

This program is able to open these files.
If it works, let me know and I will be glad to post it as an answer,
if not tell us for continuing researching.

livio-flores: Thank you. I'll pass on the information and report if
it works. I have only Macs here, so can't test it myself (and can't find
a Mac version on the site).

Hi again!!

This info could be useful: (use this for the cph files)
"In earlier versions of Corel, CPT files are TIF files with the CPT
extension and supported in ThumbsPlus. In Corel 7 and later, CPT files
are another proprietary format that can only be supported through
Corel's OLE server. To change the CPT configuration for later versions
of Corel, go to Options | Preferences | File Types | Image | TIF."

Good luck!!
