I would like to know when Judge Harms was appointed to the bench and
by who. I know that she went to Wellesley and then Harvard Law and
passed the Bar in 1978, but most Ma. Probate Judges have info.
available about them on the Ma.court site, and she does not. I'd
particularly like to know her 'record' re divorce (aside from the John
Daniels case), child support, visitation, and sole legal and physical
custody, particularly when a teenager or several teenagers refuse to
see a parent and this is supported by a child psychologist/family
therapist. Is she seen as a 'fair judge' who makes carefully considered
judgements or as arbitrary in her decisions? Does she have either a
pro mother or pro father reputation? Have there been complaints
brought against her by others than the Ma. Fathers Coalition and why?
What were the findings? Is she known for particular biases?
Does the Committeee of Judicial Conduct have a record available to the
public on her rulings?I am requesting any and all information on this
judge. Thank you.

Probate and family JudgeChristine harms went to Wellesley
undergrad,Harvard Law and passed the bar in 1978. She is well known
for being picketed by 'radical' father's groups in the"80's and early
1990's for her stance on custody and supervised visitation. She was
once known to be somewhat more partial or understanding of about to be
divorced mother's and their children, but seems quite arbitrary in her
divorce decision processes, and has quite a hard demeanor. I'm
extremely interested in how she is thought of on the bench because she
is the judge for my divorce and scares the life out of me. She decided
not to discuss money a for a month or two and my childrn and I are
hanging on by a thread. Is her recent record pro mother, pro father?
Fair, unfair? Is her reputation(recent reputation-last 5 years)that of
a fair and impartial Judge? Have their been any/many cases against her
in the Court of Judicial Overseers re her decisions?I very much need
some idea of who she is and how she works? I know this is a hard
question to answer but my children and I need help!!!!

Judge Christine Harms is the Judge appointed as the Judge for my
divorce and I'm quite desperate to know something of her as she is
thought of re her decisions.Has she ever been brought up on charges
before the Committee that oversees Judicial decisions? I know this
question is a value judgement as much as anything else, but I can't
find info. on her and feel like my lawyer plays to the Judge liking
and respecting her, as much as she does to/for my case.I'd like to
know how people who have had her as their judge, as well as
appoinntees to the bench view her. Any help is appreciated. Is she pro
mother or father? My children and I are sufffering because "she didn't
wantt to talk about money until the end of November."Pleas help!!
