Hello Raus:
It is nice to hear from you again. I was busy with another question
and apologize for the delay.
Let?s break your question into three parts:
1. You are looking for the high-tech hotels around the world.
2. You want to know what kind of high-tech technologies exist in the
hospitality market.
3. You want to know how much it will cost to put in an underwater
sound system for a project concerning a pool upgrade.
There are various hotels in the world with the high-tech features but
four hotels pride themselves in featuring the most advanced high-tech
facilities in the world. They include:
Hotel Valencia, Silicon Valley

An Article:

As hotels have always remained a fascination for me, I am also
impressed by two UAE hotels that I consider to be the most high-tech
in the Middle East, if not in the world. These include:
AL Faisaliah Hotel, Saudi Arabia
http://www.alfaisaliahhotel.com
The Fairmont Dubai, UAE
http://www.fairmont.com
An Article:
http://www.ameinfo.com/news/Detailed/4148.html
Now if you are looking for the modern hip ?hard rock style? hotels
that feature high-tech modern amenities all around the place than I
will advise you to look at:
Hudson Hotel, NYC
http://www.hudsonhotel.com/home.html
Hotel Lucia, Portland
http://www.hotellucia.com
The Georgia Tech Hotel, Georgia
http://www.gatechhotel.com
AND PROBABLY THE MOST HIGH-TECH IN GERMANY
Hotel Montree, Germany
http://www.montree.de/
By high-tech, we may also mean the hotels that provide excellent
business facilities to the executive traveler. In this case, you may
review the world?s best hotels for the business travelers at:
http://www.travelandleisure.com/worldsbest/bizhotels.cfm
Your second question was about the kind of high-tech technologies that
exist today. Instead of answering this question and giving a summary
myself, I am directing you to two websites. Using a combination of
these two websites, you can get answers to any of the questions that
you might have.
The first website is Wired Hotelier http://www.wiredhotelier.com/home.html
that has all the news for the high-tech advancements in the
hospitality industry. But, I want you to look at the forthcoming
conferences that are related to the high-tech equipments in the
hospitality industry. The website lists virtually every major
conference and trade show. Take a look at the forthcoming conferences
and trade shows at http://www.wiredhotelier.com/event/Technology/page1.html
OR scroll down the main page. Close to Germany, a conference is taking
place in France in December this year where several companies will
display their high-tech equipments for the interested parties. It is
Tourism 2003 http://www.tourisma.org.
Now, before attending one of these trade shows if you are interested
in gaining information on what kind of equipment is available in the
high-tech hospitality industry, please visit Hitec 2003 Online Edition
http://online.hitec.org/marketplace/index.html . Here you can browse
the list of companies by their specialties and get a basic idea of
virtually every major technology.
By harnessing the power of these two websites you will be able to get
a better idea rather than me writing a summary.
Your third question was about the underground music system that they
use in similar hotels like Hard Rock, Orlando. Well, I tell you! the
expanse will mostly be in upgrading the swimming pool, not in getting
the underwater music system. My initial research revealed that you
should be able to get a pretty nice underwater music system installed
anywhere from $1750 from basic to the underwater music system of the
highest standards in the world at no more than $3000.
I am providing you with the websites of world famous companies that
specialize in these equipments where you may get an idea on the
approximate price.
Lubell Labs
http://www.lubell.com/
Oceanears
http://www.oceanears.com/products2001.html
Recreonics
http://www.recreonics.com/underwater_speakers.htm
If you ask me about the best high-tech pool system of any hotel in the
world than Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai has no rivals on earth.

I hope this will help you. Please clarify, if you are not satisfied. I
will be obliged to serve your needs.

I am impressed. Let's keep this going. I have posted another question
yesterday at http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=273545
without immediate results. I did not want you to deal with two
questions att he same time. This is the deal: I offer you to double
the original amount by tipping and, at the same time do not expect a
100% answer to this- since it may not be possible. A client of mine
will be there next week, so I need to hook him up with a decent
experience.
Furthermore, I think it makes sense to inform you about the nature of
my work, since I would love to continue this. I will have to think
about a way to do so, without offending Google (I did twice so far)
and to keep my clients confidential.
Best from Berlin

Hello Raus:
Thank you for the consideration. I will like to help you in any way
possible and we can find a way without offending Google. I will start
looking into your inquiry. Fortunately, I spent this entire summer in
Orlando but unfortunately I didn't look into casino's and such places.
While, I do my research, I am going to ask my friends in Orlando if
they know of any such place.
I will get back to you on this, very soon.
Sincerely,
leader-ga.

Regarding this hotel question. How did you come to the conclusion,
that the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai has the best system? Did you
find articles about it?
Regarding the Orlando Bingo Question: I can see, that there may not
be too much to be found. Let's see how much you can find. I still have
the callence of hooking someone up with a decent experience. So little
is better than nothing.
best wishes

Hello Raus:
I should have been clearer. Referring to the pool system, I didn't
mean the sound system or the pool, for that matter. I wanted to point
at the water based facilities of the Jumieriah Resort that comprises
Jemeiriah Beach Hotel, Wild Wadi Water Park and Burj Al Arab. For a
Wild Wadi Water Park fact sheet, please consult
http://www.jumeirahinternational.com/ji_site/press/ww.doc
Thanks.

Let's dump the bingo question. I will ask my client to check out
Dayton Beach. There seem to be at least two decent bingo halls.
Regarding the nature of my questions. There is a document I started
circulating two months ago in Germany. My questions refer to potential
first projects in discussion.

Hi Raus:
I found your idea remarkably fascinating. Since, I have always been
attracted by anything that is 'Hotel', I will look forward to any
other inquiry that you might have.
Also, I am a frequest contributor to the Travel Section of the Google
Answers. Probably the most frequent.
Furthermore, I didn't get any conclusive answer from my connections at
WDW resort about the bingo in downtown Orlando. Sorry!
Sincerely,
leader-ga.
