The Piranha vacuum is manufactured by Powr-Flite. You can find their
vacuum line at their web site here:

http://www.powrflite.com/istore/vacuumscompare.asp?dept=10038

Entering "Piranha" into the site's search box, will take you to the
following description:

Item Number: PF2028 Wide Area Vacuum
28 inch Wide area vacuum with tools onboard

Designed for large cleaning jobs, the PF2028 features a 28 inch
cleaning path, an attached wand and on-board tools. The 20 foot range
on the wand and hose will reach into the office and conference rooms
while the vacuum stays in the hall. Clean the hallways quicker than
with a conventional vacuum with the added benefit of taking care of
the edges, baseboards, window ledges, doorways...all with the Piranha
PF2028. The adjustable brush height control is mounted on the handle
for easy access. You can adjust the brush height as necessary without
slowing productivity. The brush assist helps pull the vacuum over
carpet for easy maneuverability. Filtration on this vacuum is
excellent. It comes standard with five stage filtration and is the
only wide area vacuum on the market with with HEPA filtration
available.

Power-flite manufacture 'commercial' vacuum cleaners and I couldn't
locate Piranha on their website. I'm requesting the website for the
manufacture of Piranha 'domestic' vacuum cleaners, in particular the
Piranha Hurricane, Model C62086.

Boy, you would think a company trying to sell vacuum cleaners would
make it a little EASIER to find them...!

Anyway, sorry for the commercial/domestic mix-up, but I did manage to
find the manufacturer of the Piranha vacuum line for domestic use.
The problem, I think, was a recent company takeover that made it a bit
tricky to pin down who's who.

But I digress...

The Piranha vacuum cleaner for domestic use is manufactured by an
Australian company called Funtastic, who recently took over the
original maker of the Piranha, a company called JNH. Funtastic still
maintains the JNH website where you can see the Piranha line:

http://www.jnh.com.au/products/electrical/index.html

There's not a lot of info about the vacuums on the site itself, but
you can contact Funtastic for more information:

Thanks pafalafa-ga. I'm sorry I hadn't realised that I had your
answer further down the page. You've been very patient with me as I
try to get used to Google questions and answers. I think I've got the
hang of it now.
