Mops-ga, You can find a free imitation font at http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=1782 that tries very hard to resemble the compact disc logo. Hope it helps. bjork24 |

Thanks bjork24. I've actually found this font sometime ago and while it indeed looks like the hollow font used in the word disc, I still haven't found the one used for the word compact. I even tried contacting the author of the font but unfortunately he hasn?t created the other font used in the logo. |

Just a comment: using www.myfonts.com on a large picture of the logo reports Eurostyle T Black (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/urw/eurostile/t-black/) as the closest match for the font in "COMPACT" and "DIGITAL AUDIO", followed by Eurostyle EF Black and Eurostyle Bold. Square 721 Bold also looks like a good match. |
