Hi astern,

I'm providing a list of websites which address your question. As
you're about to see, all of them say it isn't advisable to flush
condoms down toilets. There are many, more sites, but they all say
basically the same thing, from environmental or plumbing points of
view. I found not one that approves of condom flushing.

"... flushing condoms down the toilet
is a bad idea. They can clog your plumbing or end up in the water supply."

"During normal weather conditions, items such as tampons, cotton buds
and condoms which are flushed down the toilet will remain in the
sewers and eventually end up at a sewage treatment plant."

"Wrap a used condom in a tissue and throw it in the trash... Condoms
can choke the pipes if flushed down the toilet."

"end up in the water supply"--considering what else goes into toilets,
I think latex is the least of our worries.
