My question concerns the Republic of San Marino. (San Marino is the
3rd smallest nation in Europe, and is located in central Italy, where
it is both landlocked and surrounded by Italy.)
San Marino is protected and policed by their own military and police
forces. The various branches are
the....................................................
(1) Voluntary Military Force (Corpi Militari Voluntar)
(2) Gendarmerie
(3) Guardi di Rocca
(4) Polizia Civile

The answer that I'm looking for (and the form in which I want this
answer) is as follows......................................................................
I want information on the current Insignia of Rank as worn by the
following San Marino
forces...................................................................
(1) Voluntary Military Force (Corpi Militari Voluntar)
(2) Gendarmerie
(3) Guardi di Rocca
(4) Polizia Civile
I'd like my answer in the form of either illustrations or a clear
written description.
(For those who may not know what Insignia of Rank is, please go to..............
http://www.rankinsignia.info .)
Insignia of Rank is a kind of shorthand, consisting of various types
of symbols of various shapes, colors and sizes, which can tell you at a
glance what a person's rank is. For example, shapes could take the
form of things chevrons, stars, bars, stripes, etc. I've tried many
different sources myself to try to find this San Marino rank insignia
information but they've yielded little useful data. The sources I've
already consulted include..........................................
The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Military Insignia in the 20th Century
