Hi there,

This should be a relatively easy task as it's mostly just correcting
my work... so please don't let the long submission daunt you! ;o)

I am having some trouble with net ionic equations and was hoping for
some help. I put all of my reactions below, please check my work
carefully to see that I am doing it right. Please correct anything
that's wrong, and let me know why it's wrong. For everything that's
correct just say "ok" next to it. I need the states of the products
(i.e. solid, liquid, aqueous) to be checked as well, so keep an eye on
those.

For the few at the bottom with question marks, please tell me what the
reaction is (I can't figure those out). I need this asap so the sooner
the better!

Thanks so much, and please don't hesitate to ask for clarification if
there's something I didn't make clear.

I. Treatment with H2SO4(aq)

First I mixed each anion with H2SO4 at room temperature, and then I
heated the solution and recorded my observations again. I need the net
ionic equations for both reactions.

	CO32-
	room temp:	wht. eff.
			CO32-(aq) + H2SO4(aq) ? SO42-(aq) + H2O(l) + CO2(g)

	NO3-
	heated: smk.
			NO3-(aq) + H2SO4(aq) ? HNO3(aq) + HSO4-(aq)

	Br-
room temp:	eff., red l., odor
			2Br-(aq) + H2+(aq) ? 2HBr(g)
	heated: eff.
			2HBr(aq) ? H2(g) + Br2(g) (I know Br2 is one of the products here)

	Cl-
	room temp:	wht. eff., odor
			Cl-(aq) + H2+(aq) ? H+(aq) + HCl(g)
	heated: odor
			2Cl-(aq) + H2+ (aq) ? 2HCl(g)

	CrO42-
	room temp: red l., odor
			2CrO42-(aq) + H2+(aq) ? Cr2O7(aq) + H2O(l)

	I-
room temp:	eff, br. smoke, odor
			2I-(aq) + H2+(aq) ? 2HI(g)
	heated: strong odor
			8HI(aq) + H2SO4(aq) ? H2S(g) + 4I2(g) + 4H2O(l) (I know that H2S
and I2 need to be in the products here, but I'm not sure I did this
one correctly?)

II. Treatment with AgNO3

First I mixed each anion with AgNO3, then if there was a precipitate I
mixed it again with HNO3. I need the net ionic equations for both
reactions.

	CO32-
	with AgNO3:	wht. ppt.
			CO32-(aq) + 2Ag+(aq) ? Ag2CO3(s)
	adding HNO3:	ppt. diss.
			Ag2CO3(s) + HNO3(aq) ? ?

	PO43-
	with AgNO3:	y. ppt.
			PO43-(aq) + 3Ag+(aq) ? Ag3PO43-(s)

	Br-
	with AgNO3:	wht. ppt.
			Br-(aq) + Ag+(aq) ? AgBr(s)
	adding HNO3:	nr
			AgBr(s) + HNO3(aq) ? ?

	Cl-
	with AgNO3:	wht. ppt.
			Cl-(aq) + Ag+(aq) ? AgCl(s)
	adding HNO3:	ppt. diss.
			AgCl(s) + HNO3(aq) ? ?

	CrO42-
	with AgNO3:	br. ppt.
			CrO42-(aq) + 2Ag+(aq) ? Ag2CrO42-(s)
	adding HNO3:	y. l., ppt. diss.
			Ag2CrO42-(s) + HNO3(aq) ? ?

	I-
	with AgNO3:	y. ppt.
			I-(aq) + Ag+(aq) ? AgI(s)

III. Treatment with Ba(NO3)2

First I mixed each anion with Ba(NO3)2, then if there was a
precipitate I mixed it again with HCl. I need the net ionic equations
for both reactions.

	SO42-
	with Ba(NO3)2:	wht. ppt.
			SO42-(aq) + Ba2+(aq) ? BaSO4(s)

	CO32-
	with Ba(NO3)2:	wht. ppt.
			CO32-(aq) + Ba2+(aq) ? BaCO3(s)
	adding HCl:	ppt. diss.
			BaCO3(s) + HCl(aq) ? ?

	PO43-
	with Ba(NO3)2:	wht. ppt.
			2PO43-(aq) + 3Ba2+(aq) ? Ba3(PO4)2(s)
	adding HCl:	ppt. diss.
			Ba3(PO4)2(s) + HCl(aq) ? ?

	CrO42-
	with Ba(NO3)2:	y. ppt.
			CrO42-(aq) + 3Ba2+(aq) ? BaCrO4(s)
	adding HCl:	ppt. diss.
			BaCrO4(s) + HCl(aq) ? ?

	I-
	with Ba(NO3)2:	pp. ppt.
			2I-(aq) + Ba2+(aq) ? BaI2(s)

IV. Specific Tests for Anions

For the following I need to specify the regeants involved (in
identifing the anion) and write a complete net ionic equation. I've
included all the regents used in the test, but I am not sure of the
formula for Chlorine Water (I put ClH2O?).

Na2SO4(aq) + HCl(aq) + Ba(NO3)2(aq) ? ?
Na3PO4(aq) + HNO3(aq) + (NH4)2MoO4(aq) ? ?
Na2CO3(aq) + HCl(aq) + Ba(OH)2(aq) ? ?
NaCl(aq) + HNO3(aq) + AgNO3(aq) + NH3(aq) ? ?
NaBr(aq) + HNO3(aq) + AgNO3(aq) + NH3(aq) + ClH2O(aq) (chlorine
water?) + CCl4(aq) ? ?
KI(aq) + HNO3(aq) + AgNO3(aq) + NH3(aq) + ClH2O(aq) (chlorine water?)
+ CCl4(aq) ? ?
NaNO3(aq) + H2SO4(aq) + FeSO4(aq) ? ?
NaC2H3O2(aq) + H2SO4(aq) + C2H6O(aq) ? ?
