Hello, Carolyn. What a kind thing to do! I appreciate your generosity. I feel uncomfortable taking your money without giving you something in return, so I'll share with you a poem that I wrote for Mother's Day: SMALL WONDER (A Tribute to Mothers Everywhere) The Lord God painted the sunset, Then hung it against the sky. His power shattered the great ribbed rocks To pattern the mountains high. And you have gathered some rainbow scraps For a quilt on a worn old bed In a small, safe circle of hugs and laps, Where no harsh words are said. The Lord God measured the oceans out And numbered each grain of sand; He snapped His fingers, and galaxies Came tumbling from His hand. I praise the Lord for the earth and seas And the heavens that arch above, But I end each prayer with a special thanks For the gift of a mother's love. God made the world while lightning played Beneath the celestial dome; And, under a low roof, you have made The miracle of Home. ================================================== Best wishes always, pinkfreud | |

Dunno about the beautiful bit, but still, how's that? :-) There was once a young woman called pink, Who answers lots of questions that stink, Still she?s always a-smiling Makin? jokes which?re rhyming, And delivers them all with a wink! Have a nice day! |

My favorite customer, schmooz, Asks questions I cannot refuse. I see one, I grab it. It's now quite a habit; Addictive, but safer than booze. |

Hi, Bathrocks This is all highly suspicious. I don't suppose it could be anything to do with Dorothy Parker, could it? She was an accomplished poet, too, although certainly not up to your standard. 'Bathrocks' starts with 'B' ... just like the mysterious 'Birdie'. Please visit #336213 and join the list of prime suspects. Bryan |

Probonopublico, He?s a jolly nice fellow. Dunno if he?s pretty, Though surely he?s witty, Comes up with wisecracks in a jiffy! |

Brilliant, Bathrocks! And so quick off the mark. However, I have never been considered 'pretty' ... Handsome, Gorgeous, Manly, Virile ... You have all it takes to become Poet Laureate. (Provided you bribe the right people.) Warmest regards Bryan |
