I am trying to find a professional company that will personalize my
sons baseball glove by sewing his name into it at a reasonable price.
I know there are companies out there that do this, but in searching
the web, have been unable to find them. I live in Miami, Florida and
would like to
find a company that is close. Please advise if you are successful in

Are you sure that the names on the gloves you saw were added AFTER the
glove was purchased?

It is my understanding that leather gloves must be embroidered before
they are assembled. If you are interesting in a listing of companies
that will sell you custom embroidered gloves, I have that list and

I am not exactly sure, but I was under the impression that your name
can be added after you purchase the glove. This glove was manufactured
by Nike, and bought at a local sporting goods store nationally known.
While I understand exactly what you are saying, I am trying to locate
a company that will embroider my sons glove after the fact. If you

Although the website is unclear, The Sports Doctor includes embroidery
under its 'glove repair' section. So I belived they will embroider an
existing glove for you. The cost is $70 plus $9 shipping.

between 10 and 2 EST, Monday to Friday

I've posted this as a comment rather than an answer for two reasons:
firstly, although they operate nationwide, they are based in Rocky
Hill, New Jersey and are not local to you. Secondly, you might not
consider $79 to be a 'reasonable price'.
