Where can i find manufacturers of small hobby hand tools and jewelers
hand tools. Such as pliers, bead containers, bead reamers, small
hammers etc. Must be small and geared to the hobby and jewelry market
and not automotive. in the U>S. or China. looking for the best price
so I think China or Pakistan might be the place

When you mentioned hobby tools, I thought of the maker X-acto, which
makes hobby tools such as blades, clamps and tweezers for scale
modeling applications. I just want to ask if this is the kind of
"hobby tools" you mean.

Yes the company in India is exactly what i needd is it possible I

On the other company exacto these tools are in the hobby trade i guess
i should have been more precise but they are not used in the jewelry
business.

After a lot of looking around, I've come to the conclusion that the
manfufacture of jeweler's tool of the sort you're looking for has
become highly concentrated in a single place in the world -- India. 
Every time I came across a new listing, it was for an Indian company. 
Extensive searches of manufacturers in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and
other areas of the world did not turn up any leads.  India is the
place to go!

I've included below two sources of information, in addition to those
already provided.

The first is a company, Star Enterprises, that seems just as good as
ABM-Corp. in terms of their offerings.  You can find them on the web
at:

The second listing will take a bit of work on your part to flesh out,
but it may be worth your while if the other listing don't fully meet
your needs.

There is an extensive listing of jewelery tool-making suppliers in
India at this Yellow Pages site:

This appears to be a pretty comprehensive list, and includes direct
links for email contacts to the listed companies.

However, it does not include web-site information (This is a MAJOR
ovesight of many online Yellow Pages, but that's another topic

Anyway. if a company on the list strikes your interest, copy the
company name into a Google search, and see if anything pops up (some
of the companies have websites, others don't).
