Only a handful of countries' contiguous borders straddle two continents.

However, there a number of countries that have islands and various
other enclaves that are considered to be on a different continent.
This introduces a bit of a problem... Suppose, for example, the
Netherlands (Europe) owns some islands that are considered to be part
of a different continent... Would want to count the Netherlands as a
country on two continents?
