In outlook express 6, when pictures were attached to e-mails, I could
always view them as an integral part of the letter, but in outlook
2003 (and in XP) I have to open each attachment individually in order
to view them. How can I set outlook to show me all pictures
automatically?

Just to be clear, I am indeed talking about viewing pictures that were
sent as normal attachments, as part of the message, in the reading
pane, without having to open them one by one. I hope there is a way,
because I really hate having to work so hard. It did exist in outlook
express, is there absolutely no way this can be done?

Hi ariapplez,

Sorry, but it's not possible to preview pictures that are sent as
attachments in the reading pane in Outlook 2003 - Outlook treats all
attachments the same and therefore they aren't previewed in the
message.

If the sender includes the image in the email (New Email / Insert /
Picture) rather than sending it as an attachment, you will be able to
see it in the reading pane.

Regards,
hummer
