Hello smc968-ga,

I have an answer for you that should meet your needs 100%, and then some.

Simply call Greta at the Ford Company Archives Library.

She can be reached directly at:

313-845-0052

and the general number for the library is:

313-390-7500

She is an extraordinarily pleasant individual, and will work with you
to either direct you to appropriate sources of information, or to
retreive the documents for you herself. She is also eager to suggest
any and all other sources of information that might be useful to
whatever project you are embarked on.

I located the Ford Company archives through a useful resource that I
have bookmarked, the online Directory of Corporate Archives at:

http://www.archivists.org/saagroups/bas/directory.asp

The listing for Ford can be seen here:

http://www.archivists.org/saagroups/bas/directory_e-f.asp

(about two-thirds of the way down the page), although the contact
names and phone numbers are out of date -- use the information I gave
you instead.

If you have any questions about this information, please let me know
before rating this answer. Just post a Request for Clarification, and
I'll be happy to assist you further.

Cheers,

I'm not quite sure what to do here. It seems that my question was
unclear... I should have asked if anyone could find those annual
reports online, because I needed them ASAP. In addition, I actually
spoke with someone at Ford yesterday who was checking on the reports
for me, but never called back. As a result, I went to the Harvard
Business School library and got the reports myself. In essence, you
answered the question, but I no longer need the answer to the
question. Unless there is any way to perhaps change the amount bid for
this question... I guess a deal is a deal.

Hello there,

Well....I'm glad to hear you got the reports you needed, anyway.

There's nothing I can do from my end regarding your situation. You
should contact the Google Answer editors at their email address on the
bottom of the page, here. Tell them I said that whatever you folks
work out among yourselves is OK by me.

Hope we'll see you back here one of these days.

Honestly, you answered the question, and it is not worth it to me to
spend the time and effort to try to dispute this charge. Moreover, I
was asked to post this request in parallel to the other methods
through which we were searching for the reports, so I guess we
expected to spend this $100. Go ahead and collect.

Good answer. All that could have made it better is if arrangements
were actually made to get me what I was looking for... but my question
was posted in haste and turned out to be somewhat less specific than
it should have been. Overall good answer.
