Hello, I'm trying to find some information on an old wood carving. 
The carving is of a cowboy with his dog and he has a gun and knap sack
on his back.  The name "Alain Mariot" is carved on the front of the
base.  The word "Sic" is carved on the back, actually it's carved on
the dog's tail.  Also on the bottom there is a sticker that says "Made
in France sic, Hand Painted Handgemalt Decore Main".  If anyone can
provide me information on this I would greatly appreciate it.  I'm
also interested in the year it was carved, possible worth, etc. It's
also in excellent condition.  Thanks.

I've been having abit of trouble fiding out any information on your
carving. However, I did find a wood carving apprasial service, which
will apprase a wood carving for a fee ( less than 10 USD - through
Paypal ), if you can email them 4 pictures of the carving? Would this
work for you? If so, let me know and I can post it as an answer, if
not....that's ok too.
