Hi luisleonardo,

Thank you for an interesting question about cows.

You asked: "How many blood have a cow"

The average blood volume of a cow is 40 liters.

"if it was mixed with 40 liters of water (approximate blood volume of a cow)"

Question: How much blood needs to pass through the udder to produce
one gallon of milk?

Answer: 500 gallons of blood need to pass through the udder to make
one gallon of milk.

Conversion gallons to liters
(500 gallons = 1892.706 liters)

1892.7 liters of blood will make 1 liter of milk

Hi luisleonardo,

I'd like to make a correction in my math:

This is very straightforward:

The conversion of gallons to liters is irrelevant.

500 gallons of blood makes 1 gallon of milk. This means whatever the
measurement, the amount of blood is 500 times the amount of milk.

So for 1 liter of milk, 500 liters of blood.
For 1 thimble of milk, 500 thimbles of blood.

Best regards,
tlspiegel

Sorry, amendment to the conversion gallons to liters:
If 500 gallons=1892.706 liters will make one gallon Milk(3.785412 liter)
then 500 liters of blood are needed to pass through the udder to make
one(1)liter Milk. ok?

Kind regards
Scarface7

1892.5 liters of blood would make 1 gallon of milk,
or
1892.5 liters of blood would make 3.78 liters of milk

1 gallon equals 3.78 liters
