Question ID: 33959
While on vacation in Italy, I came across a lemon soda that I really
enjoyed, and I haven't been able to find anything like it since. I
live in California, where can I order some from in medium-sized
quantities (like a case) for a reasonable price?

The soda is called "Lemon Soda - La Limonata".
On the can, it says "Prodotta da C & C S.p.A MILANO - Stab. di SULMONA
(AQ)".
And has a small logo that says "CRODO".
UPC code reads 8014 5455.
It comes in a standard sized aluminum can.

Hi,
You can find San Pellegrino Limonata from this site:

http://www.popsoda.com/sanpellim.html
http://www.bevmo.com/productinfo.asp?area=more&find_spec=limonata&catname=&mscssid=AX5DFME2KM338MQN5ULK9G6PNJ8HDS5E

Here is a recipe, if you would like to try making it yourself:

As far as I can tell, Crodo does not export to the USA.

I wasn't aware of the Pellegrino one, but I coincidentally had a
chance to try it yesterday. While it was good, it just wasn't the
same. The Crodo one has actual bits of lemon pulp in it, and tastes
better I think. I'm pretty sure it's not exported directly to the US
by Crodo, but I was hoping someone could find me a company that
imported it, even if only in small quantities.

Hi, after a little digging, I found that what you are looking for is
Campari Lemonsoda, made in Crodo, Italy. But I could not find any for
sale via mail-order on the Internet, in the USA. Campari's own website
has a Boutique that is still "under construction" but says it will
have online ordering available. I suggest you use the feedback link on
Campari's website to contact them and see if they know where you can
order some in the meantime. See these links:

Apologies that I cannot provide more information. Thank you for using
Google Answers.

The followup was good, thank you. Hopefully they're finish their
website soon. And although popsoda didn't have what I was looking
for, its a neat site that I'd never been to.
