I need to know when and where my grandfather, William Francis Cooper
Wolfe, married my grandmother, Rutham Rambo. I believe they were
married inbetween the years 1884 and 1892 in Tehama County, CA,
specifically in Red Bluiff Ca.

I don't know whether I will find anything more, but whatever you know
about William Francis Cooper Wolfe and Ruhama Rambo (or their
immediate families) might be helpful to me or another Researcher.

There is at least some information about this couple on web pages, but
nothing I've seen saying when they were married.

Ruhama Rambo was (likely) born in Tehama County, CA., specifically in
Red Bluff, CA. Her parents were Mark and Elvira Rambo, who owned a
ranch in Red Bluff. CA. The ranch was "taken up" (homsteaded) when
they arrived in Red Bluff by way of the Oregon Trail, likely in the
late eighteen fifties. Ruhama had at least one sister, Mary Alice.
Ruhama married William Francis Cooper Wolfe who was born in
Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland. Their children were: Merle, Mark,
and Mary Winsome who was born in 1896. All three children were born in
Tehama County, I believe. Ruhama was around twenty when she married.
She attended local schools and was attending Teacher's Normal just
prior to her marriage. I hope this information helps.

Leslie --

Brett-GA has done a good job of narrowing down the years of marriage
from the most-logical source: Census records. (He didn't use the 1890
Census because it was largely destroyed in a fire.)

California, unlike some states, treats marriage records as
confidential. However, a relative can gain access to them for
genealogical research. You'll want to write to the Tehama County
