According to Adam Cohen in The Perfect Store, Ebay is the largest Internet auction not because it has always been the cheapest or the best, but because it has a first-mover advantage. In the Netherlands Marktplaats.nl seems to have that advantage. I would like an educated and well researched guess as to whether Ebay will be able to grow larger than Marktplaats in the Netherlands. How? Examples of other countries. And when? |
