Hi theansweris742,

I have begun research on your question. However there are a few things
I need clarified.
Researchers are wary when the word "all" is used. For example, I have
already spent 6 hours going through 3 of the main universities in UAE.
There are many others.

If you can specify on the institutions you want researched, this will
be helpful. For example, are you interested in all men or all women
institutions or just co-ed. Giving a specific area in the UAE and/or
Saudi Arabia will also help.
How many universities would suffice as an answer to your question?
Would links with the information you are requesting suffice an answer?

Anything more you can clarify will help me in my research. Thanks.

Best regards,
Rainbow

American University of Sharjah
http://www.aus.ac.ae/sbm/graduate/mba/

The university offers two programmes: MBA and an Executive MBA (EMBA).

Admission MBA:
?Admission to the M.B.A. program is on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must first meet the requirements of the University Graduate
Programs then they must meet the specific requirements of the M.B.A.
Admission to the M.B.A. program normally requires an acceptable score
on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). This score is then
matched to the student's undergraduate grade point of the last two
years of study. The resulting score will determine whether or not an
applicant will be admitted to the program. Students from non-English
speaking universities are also required to furnish evidence of
proficiency in English. This will generally be accomplished by
submitting scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
of 530 and above. TOEFL scores over two years old and GMAT scores over
five years old will not be accepted. Both tests may be administered
locally.
Applicants must submit the following documents:
?	Completed application form
?	Passport photocopy
?	Two passport size photos
?	Official Sealed Copy of degree plus transcript of grades
?	TOEFL score, if applicable
?	GMAT score
?	Application fee ?
(SOURCE: http://www.aus.ac.ae/sbm/graduate/mba/admission.htm)

Admission EMBA:
?The admission review takes into consideration academic and employment
information, giving special attention to professional accomplishments
and potential for growth within an organization. Most participants
have earned Bachelor degrees in Business Administration. Some hold
advanced degrees in other fields. All have demonstrated an ability to
sustain intensive, graduate-level work. Under certain circumstances a
standardized examination, such as the GMAT and/or TOEFL, may be
required and may be administered locally.
Applicants must submit the following documents:
?	Resume
?	Completed application form
?	Two letters of recommendation
?	Passport photocopy
?	Two passport size photos
?	Official Sealed Copy of degree plus transcript of grades
?	TOEFL score, if available

On reputation and ranking
---------------------------------
Aside from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and
Technology (SZABIST) , which is ranked by Asia Week as one of the best
business schools in Asia (http://www.careerdynamo.com/asia_mba.html) ,
all other universities are virtually unknown outside the region.

The United Arab Emirates University as well as King Fahd University
are accredited by the The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of
Business, two of the only schools in Asia to be on that list
(http://www.aacsb.edu/)

Many programmes are of ranches of existing universities in other
countries, or taught distance learning programmes. The University of
Wollogong, SZABIST, and Preston are all based in other countries. In
addition, the American University of Sharjah holds an American style
programme. Of those SZABIST has a good reputation in Asia (as
mentioned above). The others are less known, but it seems that both
the American University and Wollogong maintain high standards (as
could be seen by they admission requirements; see also UAE Today?s
article: < http://www.sunpublishingfz.com/uaetoday/apr03/ut-article1.htm>).

Two of the programmes, Abu Dhabi University?s and Preston
University?s, are rather new, and have no reputation, for good or bad.

As for the taught distance learning programmes, the Central Pacific
University had some issues with the State of Hawaii and was under
investigation of the State?s Attorney. The investigation closed with
?warning letters?, but its reputation might not be so good. The other
programme, that of Maastricht School of Management, has one of the
best business school reputations in the list, included sometimes in
such reputable lists such as the Economist Intelligence Unit?s.
However, with distance learning taught programmes, you should always
know that the level of the tuition might not be equal to the one
provided at the home institute or in an institute which is based on
that country.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact me if you need any
further clarification on this answer before you rate it.

This programme somehow slipped my radar. Being American-accredited, it
is important that you'll know about it:

American University of Dubai
<http://www.aud.edu/business/mba.htm>

- Offers, except for a general MBA, a specialisation in International
Finance and another in International Marketing.

Requirements: "To be considered for admission into the MBA Program,
applicants must submit the following documents and information:

An Application Form for Admission to the MBA Program, duly completed,
signed and dated by the applicant.
A statement of the applicant?s career objectives, special professional
and academic interests, and other reasons why the candidate wishes to
pursue the MBA Program at AUD, as well as the applicant?s special
skills, expertise and interests that might contribute towards
enriching the MBA experience at AUD.
A statement of the candidate?s computer skills and proficiency in
using various computer tools and applications.
Photocopies of all university, college and other post-secondary
degrees and diplomas awarded to the candidate.
Original, official transcripts of academic record from all
universities, colleges or other post-secondary institutions attended
by the candidate; to be sent directly to the Office of the Registrar.
Official scores of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT),
completed within the past twelve months immediately preceding the date
of application, to be sent directly to the Office of the Registrar.
For candidates whose native language is not English, the official
score of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), completed
within the past twelve months immediately preceding the date of
application, to be sent directly to the Office of the Registrar. This
requirement may be waived for non-native English speakers who hold
bachelor degrees from accredited institutions in which the language of
instruction is English.
Two letters of reference from present or former university instructors
or employers. "

"All applications for admission to the MBA Program are evaluated by
the MBA Admissions Committee. The Committee uses the following
criteria in its applicant evaluation process:

Applicant?s GMAT scores: A minimum overall GMAT score of 500 will
normally be required. The MBA Admissions Committee will also take
cognizance of the three GMAT subscores (Math, Verbal, and Analytical
Writing Assessment), for purposes of assessing each candidate?s
specific aptitude strengths and weaknesses.
Applicant?s undergraduate GPA: A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 will
normally be required.
Applicant?s work experience: Candidates who have a minimum of two
years of work experience will be given preference for admission.
However, the nature, scope, length, breadth, variety and significance
of the work experience will also be taken into account in the
preference ranking of candidates.
Letters of evaluation from employers and university instructors: The
MBA Admissions Committee will look for evidence of each candidate?s
maturity, seriousness of intent, perseverance, academic and
professional preparedness, promise and potential, and chances of
successful completion of the MBA Program.
In using the four preceding criteria to evaluate each candidate, the
Committee will follow a balanced approach, based on the principle that
ample satisfaction, by an applicant, of one or more of these criteria
may to a reasonable extent compensate for deficiencies in one or more
of the other criteria used in the applicant?s evaluation. "
