I live in NY and travel to LA often - every 4 to 6 weeks. i keep a car in LA.
a month parking at the airport is 300 - 400.00.
there must be other places to keep a car in LA "city of cars" yet i
feel like the first person who is in this position. I could take a cab
from anywhere and park in a corporate building, car storage facilty,
something has to exist!
i was hoping to spend 150 or so for safe , covered parking and have
found nothing except the same airport places. i have a nice car so it
has to be safe.
i heard of a place called car vault but i cannot find it. they
supposedly have your car detailed, sent to a mechanic if needed and
bring the car to your hotel! thats probably expensive but i dont know
if it even exists |

I have found one place that I believe will meet your needs. Since you
need this information on a short schedule, I will post this location
now so that you can contact them right away. In the meantime I will
continue to look for other options for you in case this one doesn?t
work out.
The place I found is Storage USA. They are located at 1017 E. El
Segundo Blvd, in El Segundo, CA. I am familiar with El Segundo; it is
a small safe city just south of the Los Angeles International Airport.
They have one slot available in their underground parking garage for
$165.99 per month. The space is accessible 7 days per week from 6
a.m. to 10 p.m.
I spoke with Amanda. She says that they will be in the office until 4
p.m. today. After 4 p.m., you can call 1-800-STOR-USA.
The Storage USA website can be found at http://www.sus.com although I
wasn?t able to locate this underground parking garage listed at the
website.
As I said before, I will continue to look for other options in case
this one doesn?t work out. Please let me know if this works, or if
you have other criteria that you would like for me to consider.

I haven?t had much luck finding other options. The only other places
that I have found cost in the range that you are already paying, or
are uncovered outdoor spaces.

thats helpfull - looks like it is the best for the money -
only question is if you had luck with "auto vault" or any other more
expensive service that provides pick up and drop off of your car. I
know i only hinted at that so i dont expect another bout of research -
just curious if you stumbled upon that - you get what you pay for
-i'll just have to spend closer to 400 if i want additional services.
other than that el segundo sounds like a good option.

I did run across an auto storage company in Beverly Hills called
Auto-Vault, but I wasn?t able to reach them to obtain a cost. They
provide storage, maintenance, pick-up and delivery. I imagine it will
be on the expensive side.
