I would prefer a direct contact (I believe there is no legal
consequence for Tom Cruise, but I hope he can assist my friend) - but
if after say one week that is not available, I would consider this
answered by the first person who gave me his agent's name address and
phone details (I believe it's Tom Cruise's sister).

Actually it isn't. But I do have his actual agent's name, address,
phone and fax numbers. I also have the physical address to Mr.
Cruise's business office where he often represents his own interests.

You are indeed correct. Lee Anne DeVette did replace Pat Kingsley as
Tom Cruise?s publicist. In a news announcement about the change I was
able to determine where Miss DeVette can be contacted:

This, for example, told me the name of the company Miss DeVette works for:

?Taking over Cruise control will be Tom's big sister, Lee Anne
DeVette, who has worked in publicity and marketing for Cruise's
Paramount-based production company, Cruise/Wagner.?

[?Wagner?, by the way, of Cruise/Wagner Productions (aka CW
Productions), is Paula Wagner, wife of one of Cruise?s agents, Rick
Nicita]

These two quotes indicate that DeVette still works for that company
and she is an insider as opposed to being contracted from an outside
agency as Kingsley was:

?During Kingsley's tenure fronting for Tom, DeVette has worked her way
up through the Cruise/Wagner ranks to become her brother's in-house
publicist, collaborating with movie studios on publicity campaigns for
several of Cruise's blockbusters, including The Last Samurai. She also
