I have a Compaq 4150 laptop which will not accept a 32bit card but will accept the 16bit. I have been all over the net looking for one and I was wondering if they actually exist? |

http://www.mail-archive.com/libretto@basiclink.com/msg13861.html Seems to think "no". But, you can get all types of 16-bit NETWORK cards.. (of course you know that) but what about attaching a USB server to your network? YES! http://www.pricescan.com/itemsx/item262949.asp The product is about $99 or so. Search for Keyspan US4A. |

Check out the amazon.com's (ASIN: B0001NA3L2) link for the same product. The customer review is quite ... enthusiastic. Seriously, I think you will probably do OK with your phone, since I gather it's data-centric more than multimedia centric. Probably splitting hairs on that, but whatever. Based upon absolutely no first hand knowledge of the product, I'd hazard a guess that it would be a nice thing for PDA sync as well. You can DL the manual from the amazon.com as well. |
