My friend is trying to find out the title of a song that has the word
"Laura" in the lyrics -- he thinks, "Laura would want it that way. .
.", or perhaps "Laura don't cry. . . "

For some reason we both recall that the singer was kind of
whiny-sounding -- it's not a fast song, more like a ballad.  Anyone? 
The name of the song and/or band would be great.  Thanks, N.

the song you are speaking of and I have always believed it was one of
the most beautiful songs I?ve ever heard. The name of the song is
?Think of Laura? by Christopher Cross. In his signature haunting voice
Cross tells the story of a young woman who dies far too young and how
the man who loves her longs for her after she's gone.
