Question ID: 405837
What banking institution purchased Pacific First Leasing, Inc. a
subsidiary of Pacific First Federal (located at 68 Mitchell Blvd.
Suite 270, San Rafael, CA 94912)sometime after April of 1986?

Pacific First Leasing (which was originally known as Triple C Leasing
until a name-change in 1985) was still an active part of Pacific First
Federal in the late 1980's, and as far as I can tell, stayed a part of
the bank until Pacific First Federal itself was acquired in a
corporate takeover in 1993.

Are you sure that the Leasing operations were spun off?...I can find
no mention of this in any financial industry publications.

If not, would information about the acquisition of Pacific First
Federal in 1993 meet your needs?

Let me know.

Dear Colejakekyle,

I sent off an email to Leasing News, Inc
regarding your question and they replied that they believe it was the
same bank that purchased Triple C Leasing out of Seattle, and they
don't think there are any records available at this time.

Perhaps if you contact them directly, they might be able to help.
