hiupkeeptrophy5-ga,

Thanks for an interesting question.

eBay's most recent annual report filing to the Securities and Exchange
Commission (known as it's 10K report) can be seen here:

http://www.edgar-online.com/bin/edgardoc/finSys_main.asp?dcn=0000891618-04-000676&nad=

Item 12 in the report lists the major shareholders of eBay stock who
are required to make their identities public -- either shareholders
with 5% or more of total ownership; shareholders who are corporate
officers; or certain individuals with options to buy shares:

ITEM 12: SECURITY OWNERSHIP OF CERTAIN BENEFICIAL OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT

I know you asked only for non-corporate shareholders, but I've
included ALL the information listed in Item 12 -- executives as well
as non-eBay individuals -- so you can see the relative holdings of
each, and get an idea of the degree of persuasion they would have with
the company (which is presumably a lot!).

The following individuals are listed in this table, along with the
number of shares held:

Pierre M. Omidyar...............114,525,884
Jeffrey S. Skoll.................51,549,752
Margaret C. Whitman..............14,600,208
Maynard G. Webb, Jr.................891,458
Jeffrey D. Jordan...................797,934
Matthew J. Bannick..................220,522
William C. Cobb.....................256,457
Fred D. Anderson..........................0
Philippe Bourguignon................210,000
Scott D. Cook.....................1,056,503
Robert C. Kagle...................2,116,043
Dawn G. Lepore......................157,500
Thomas J. Tierney.........................0

The report also includes addresses for those listed above (several of
whom are executives of eBay, and therefore use the same corporate
address):

clarification:are these share holders responsible to "keeping ebay
honest" for othernshare nholders? How can that be?when everyone seems
to be on ebays board. If the board is really, royally screwing the
stockholders of Ebay, how do I contact a person responsible for
representing the ebay stockholders ONLY. Oh and your answer wasmore
than what I expected already. It just shows the gap in cpmpanies
being able to be policed by their own stock holders.Thank you for
whatever else you may find. Yo99u just may end up a part of history!

Hello again,

I'm glad to hear that my answer surpassed your expectations...that's
the only type of answer I like to provide.

As for who's who on the list I provided, you're quite right that the
bulk of the names are either executives or board members. Although I
wouldn't dismiss the board members as worth contacting...Boards of
Directors take their responsibilities for keeping a company honest a
lot more seriously these days, in the wake of all the accounting and
corporate scandals that have rocked the business world in the past few
years.

Jeff Skoll is also on the list, and he is no longer an eBay executive.
You should certainly consider contacting him as well...he seems to
have a strong inclination for "doing the right thing", and may well be
attentive to your concerns.

Let me know if there's any way I can help you further on this.
