Another silly video is spreading rapidly through the Internet, this one dubbed the "Afro Ninja." My challenge: Please identify (by name) the man in the video. If you're able to find his contact information or any other details about the video's origins, feel free to pass them on too. The earliest reference of the video I could find (around August 26) called it "castin.mov," but later versions were renamed to "afroninja.mpg." Many websites refer to the video as an audition tape (one claimed it was from the "Batman Begins" auditions), but I haven't been able to find any evidence of this or any other origins. (Personally, I think it looks like a cable access TV show.) Good luck, and thank you! The guy's name is Mark Hicks. It was for a Nike commercial with Allen Iverson and Jim Kelly. http://imdb.com/name/nm0382911/ |
