After being ripped off by an auto repair franchise, I did some research that convinced me that they are generally a pyramid-type investment. As a franchisee, you now have a significant overhead not borne by independents. If the home office only provides inventory at inflated prices, fails to resolve customer complaints, and simply rents you a name and logo, what can you honestly offer to your customers? |
