Except for DW-TV (Deutsche Welle) there are no German TV channels
broadcasting to Australia unencrypted.

According to
http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/Germany.html
DW-TV is the only channel using satellites with a footprint covering Australia.

Would you like to have more information on these satellites?
Presumably, you are already aware of DW-TV broadcasting to Australia.

There may be other German TV channels broadcasting to Australia, but
they would be encrypted and therefore would be included in one of the
digital packages mentioned on this page:
http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/asia.html

However, I do not know if there really are any encrypted German
channels broadcasting to Australia. Checking the links on
http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/asia.html
would answer your question.

My comment does nor refer to reception via Internet.

Unencrypted German language TV channels from Switzerland and Austria,
too, do not broadcast to Australia:

http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/Switzerland.html

http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/Austria.html

The footprints of the satellites mentioned on these webpages do not cover Australia.

Well I dont know about German but in my apartment block in Mlelbourne
when a man with Thai wife moved in he easily organised for a Thai
channnel to be beamed in through our satelite dish; so that even
though we cant understand the language each and every on of the 100
flats gets access to same Thai channel

Apparently, these stations are not available in Australia.

You can watch these German stations via the Internet:
http://www.lyngsat.com/nettv/Germany.html

RTL, Pro7 and Sat1 are available in Southern Africa:

Thank you for reviewing my question.

Unfortunately I'm only interested in the main stream channels such as
VOX, RTL, Pro7 and Sat1 so will cancel the question.
