I am working on a scavenger hunt and one of the items I need to get is a handwritten copy of the declaration of independence (we can rewrite it ourselves of course.) Bonus points are awarded for the group with the best calligraphy. My plan was to print out a copy of the declaration of independence and then trace it, to ensure that my handwriting is perfect. I managed to find the original in PDF format, although it is so old, it is virtually illegible. My question is where can I find a printable version of the declaration of independence written in excellent calligraphy and clear enough so that it can be traced? The deadline for the scavenger hunt is this friday, so I need it sometime before then. |

Have you considered an opaque projector? Or even a simple overhead projector, just print an image of it to acetate and use a projector to enlarge it on a wall and trace it. |

If you're going to print it out and trace it, you might as well just copy the original header and type the body text in a suitable calligraphy font. |
