I don't think that any airline would give out that kind of information,
unless the request was part of a police investigation.

relevant to the case? what if i send a written request signed by a
lawyer. think that will work?

Hi Kings,

GA1970 is of course perfectly correct. The information forms part of a
contract between an airline and a passenger.

However, depending upon the nature of your inquiry the airline's
security department may be of assistance to a limited point. They will
not put you in contact with any other passenger. But, if your wife's
welfare was somehow compromised by another passenger, your complaint
could start with the airline. Her complaint should have of course been
raised prior to departing the terminal. If your inquiry is one of say
seeking the truth, then your interest is personal and of no concern to
the airline.

Also, a manifest is simply a list of the names of ALL passengers,
without seat numbers. No airline is about to give you a list of ALL
names. You may be after a Seat Chart/Map or a Pax Info List. These
lists indicate other info of passengers, so you won't get that either.

Even if you narrowed down your request to one seat number, your chance
of accuracy would be less than 100%. If your wife sat in 21A, what are
you going to do when you find that 21B was vacant? (If that is the
nature of your request)? Your "target" may have been checked-in to 21C
.. or elsewhere.

If you are looking for a full list of passenger names to scan for a
familiar name, I suggest that your attempt will be futile.

Dear King,

(1) I agree that a such a request is not likely to be respected
without a court order. This could be done in cases where you suspect
that the queen (your wife...) had suffered some damage, etc.

(2) As far as I remember, when you enter a Ryanair plane, you choose
your seat, and there is not registration of who sat where. So, in any
case, you cannot know ast next to your wife.
