Someone in Canada has developped a new engine concept, called the
Quasiturbine (http://www.quasiturbine.com/QTIndex.html). The concept
seems revolutionnary, yet sound. Despite all the potential advantages,
after more than 10 years this project seems to be going nowhere: one
ugly website, media coverage that repeats endlessly the same thing,
barely functional prototypes (even for the simplest application).
What's the scoop? A revolution (very slowly) in the making, or another
"brilliant" concept destined to the dust heap of history? Any informed
opinion on the matter is welcome.
