Hi,
I researched the following information needed to plan for setting up a
new airline. Is this what you were looking for? :

Select your own Airline name, code and logo.

Ability to choose from pre-defined aircraft livery.

Select your own starting year, from 1946 onwards.

Select from Metric or Imperial measuring system.

Banking, Finance and capital raising - apply for funding for your new venture.

Negotiate and set up hub airports from which to start services, point
to point services are also possible.

Acquire aircraft either by lease, from a used aircraft inventory or
via new order placements for the very latest offerings from all
manufacturers. Pre order an A380.

Use a broker to purchase your aircraft or do it yourself.

Configure your aircraft - passenger, cargo or combination.

Enter into fuel contracts.

Set up leasing contracts.

Decide on seating types, classes, pitch, whether to offer in-flight
entertainment, in-seat monitors, or video phones.

Set meal standards, and other passenger services such as lounges, limo
services and newspapers.

Set up a frequent flyer program and decide on elite membership levels.

Staff your airline - from maintenance and in-flight crew to service
agents and management teams.

Decide on maintenance and security levels.

Decide on airfares for your airline - across the board or down to
individual flight sectors classes and seasons.

Schedule your flights with great detail. Spend time making sure you
have the right aircraft, airport slots, and even hours in the day to
set up your global empire of flights.

Schedule by hour of the day, day of the week. Set up recurring
schedules or once off charter flights.

Obtain landing rights.

Deal with airport curfew times.

Play globally or by region.

Advertise your airline. Make sure your brand is known and that people
'want' to fly your airline.

Set up an in-flight magazine.

Obtain financial and performance reports on your airline and on your competitors.

Take over and merge competitor airlines and build a global giant.

Sell off older aircraft, modernise your fleet.

Set up a cargo or charter airline. Accept cargo contracts. Obtain
cargo carrying reports.

Form airline alliances.

Set up subsidiaries.

Sell bonds in your airline.

Decide on maintenance levels and standards for your airline.

Set up your own check in facilities, airport lounge, ticket offices
and own terminals.

Landing rights at all airports decided on a total slot based system
with each aircraft type requiring a certain number of slot credits.

Keep in mind the well proven fact that the best way to make a small
fortune in aviation is to start with a large one...
