I currently own a Tablet PC and Adobe Illustrator, and would like to
use the drawing capabilities of the tablet in Illustrator. However,
when the tablet is in the dock, the screen in necessarily rotated to
face the opposite way. Because I would like to use illustrator on an
external monitor drawing on the screen of the tablet has the opposite
action on the external monitor.

So, what I need is some way to, easily, invert the inputs of the pen
interface on the screen. I would prefer of course that switching the
interface on and off is relatively painless.

Things to know:
-The pen interface is a Wacom tablet, for all intents and purposes.
-When in the dock, pen movements on the laptop screen are translated
over to the external monitor (this is not my doing, it does it
automatically).
-While the movements are translated over, becasue the screen is
upside-down in the dock the movements on the external monitor are
inverted as well.
-I know C# and can effectively program in it if there is a reasonable
solution using that language (notably, I do not know C or C++).
-The computer itself is a Lenovo/IBM X41 Tablet.

Hi collegekid42,

You're not alone in this problem. I don't have a 100% solution, so I'm
posting what I found for you to peruse. Let me know if something
works. I'm fairly certain there is virtually nothing left on the
subject to be found.

Possible Hardware solution:

I think there may be some help here:

Not the same tablet, but there are several ideas, one of them may work.

These next links are a stretch, but worth looking at if nothing above was helpful:

This is refering to small Camera LCD screens, flipping the screen with

That's all I could find. I know these next links won't work, but I'm
including them in case there is a miracle here. These are prank
programs that invert the screen.

It turns the Windows desktop screen upside down. No damage is done, of
course: You (or your unsuspecting victim) can always press the Esc key
to return the display to normal.

I hope something here helps! Let me know if any of these suggestions
work so I can post in the answer box. Also, be sure to clearly explain
what worked so other people with the same problem can find the
answer..

I really do hope that that answer was in jest. However, if it was not,
all I have to say is that your suggestion will not work

Just a thought why don't you rotate the tablet 180 degrees. It will be
a bit uncomfortable to use but it'll solve the purpose.
