Radio Station 106.1 KMEL in the San Francisco Bay Area has been
playing a rap song for the last few weeks (usually on Friday nights).
The hook on the track is: "going dummy in the club ... cross four
lanes," or more acturrately: "goin' dummy in da club ... cross four
lanes." This is not the new popular song by E-40 (although it could
be another track on their album) and is not by the Federation. I have
been trying to get information on this
song for weeks! Can't get KMEL on the phone, can't find anything
on-line and record store employees don't recognize the hook.

Hi Slimbranicus,

I sent an email to the Programming Director of 106 KMEL, and she
replied that she believes the song is "18 Dummy" by the Federation.

If this isn't the song you recall, I can provide you with her email,
fax and direct business phone number.

Please let me know via the "CLARIFICATION" if this si the correct song
or if the contact information would be helpful.

Thank you,
Bobbie7

ATTENTION: BOBBIE7

Thank you for the prompt reply. I cannot find 18 Dummy listed under
the Federation's album that is available on amazon.com.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002Y4T0Q/qid=1140726843/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/103-0757158-0848607?s=music&v=glance&n=5174

I was hoping that amazon would have the track so that I could listen
to the song on-line and confirm that it is the song I'm looking for.
Can you find a link for the track anywhere on-line? If not, I'll have
to find the album or track at a record store, buy it, and get back to
you. I will notify you as soon as I can confirm whether your response
is correct. Can you give me a day or two to get back to you?
