You will need to specify how detailed of an answer you need- because
honestly, if you can't answer this question, you're not going to be
purifying any proteins anytime soon. the process of purifying
proteins from a mixed solution is a part of a few fields, including
biochemistry, also known as molecular biology. The "experimental
design" refers to the procedure used to do a purification; it varies
depending on the protein to be extracted. I can explain in much
greater detail, but please let me know what you're trying to do in as
much detail as you can. What protein are you trying to purify, and
from what extract, and any other related information. Thanks.
