Hello once again, blucken-ga.


In looking for manufacturers that meet your criteria, I have only come
up thus far with a handful (about 10 or 15) such as:


Cytec Engineered Materials

Some of them, like this one:


Dynatex

only have adhesives as part of much broader portfolio, while others like:


OSI
http://www.osisealants.com/


are divisions of larger companies...the divisions fit your sales
criteria, but the larger firm may not.


There are probably others out there as well that I just haven't found yet.


My questions for you are:


--Do you want only pure play adhesives firms, or is a multi-product
business like Dynatex OK?

--Do you want only stand-alone companies, or are divisions of larger
companies part of the mix?

--Given the uncertainty of sales figures for smaller companies, is it
OK to include firms that may have significantly smaller or larger
sales than the $80-100 million range?

--And most significantly, what would you consider a reasonable number
of companies to list as an answer to your question.



I'm not sure I can produce an answer for you on this one, but I'm
willing to take a crack at it.  It would help to have a bit more
guidance first on what would best suit your needs.

1. I am looking for stand alone companies, not divisions

2. If they are a stand alone, it doesnt have to be a pure play
adhesives but have at least a significant portion of adhesives revenue

3. The 80 to 100M target is rough - you can go 50 to 150 if you have to

4. I am not sure what would be a reasonable list - I am not sure how
many companies in the US exist based on these criteria but 10 to 15
would be great

We are on a bit of deadline working in parallel with your efforts. Any
info you have by end of Jan. 24 or early Jan 25 would be great
including the 10 or 15 you already have. Even if you find some that
might not fit the exact criteria, dont be afraid to include them in
the list (including too small too big or divisions)
