We're building a machine which pull and stretch the canvas over the stretcher bars. It works just like this machine http://www.tabmasteruk.com/DSCF0001.WMV The only problem is to get a grip on the material (canvas fabric made from polyester), we tried sharp pins and saw cog, when the sharp teeths get a grip on the wooden strecth bars it can't pull the canvas to get a good tension. 1. Do you have a solution to pull and stretch the canvas (only 2-3cm of canvas)($25) 2. Do you know the manufacturer of rubber gripper to tension the canvas ($35) 3. a complete design of a canvas streching machine ($50) We've allready found several machines which are not suiteable for our material: - EZ Stretch Canvas Stretcher - http://www.bespokemachines.com/ - http://www.tabmasteruk.com/quick%20canvas.htm These machines are more suitebale for inkjet canvas which are thicker and less flexible as our material. |
