A former well-known New York stockbroker pleaded guilty Tuesday,
9/14/2004, to cheating his clients out of millions of dollars and
generating fraudulent commissions for himself.
Todd Eberhard entered guilty pleas in Manhattan federal court to 11
criminal counts, including investment adviser fraud, wire fraud, mail
fraud and obstruction of justice.
Prosecutors said they would recommend he serve a sentence of roughly
eight to 10 years in prison. U.S. District Judge Robert Sweet did not
immediately set a sentencing date.

Has Todd Eberhard been sentenced yet? If not, what reasons did Judge
Sweet give? If he has been sentenced to prison, how long is the
sentence, and where is it being served?

Mr. Eberhard has not yet been sentenced, but a sentencing date has been set.

I can provide the sentencing date, along with some additional
information of the steps that have taken place since since his guilty
plea in 2004.

Would that meet your needs as an answer to your question?

Let me know.

curious25-ga,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Todd Eberhard's sentencing is currently scheduled for June 7, 2005.

Earlier sentencing dates had been postponed due to a series of
procedural delays, and several changes of counsel. It's certainly
possible the June 7th date will change as well. Mr. Eberhard appears
to have very recently (April 12) again changed his attorney, so there
is a certainly a chance that the new attorney may want to suggest some
new steps or a new schedule.

I accessed information on Mr. Eberhard's case through the online
case-management system of the US Courts. This is only available to
subscribers of the system.

Some of the key excerpts from the Eberhard case docket are listed below.

I trust this information fully answers your question. However, please
don't rate this answer until you feel you have everything you need.
If you would like any additional information, just post a Request for
Clarification to let me know how I can assist you further, and I'm at
your service.

All the best,
